An Acceleration is Coming

I began this year highlighting some things that I believed that God was going to bring forth in this year and this new decade that we have entered into. I mentioned in particular that this would be a year and a decade in which God would empower and emphasize the importance of apostles, prophets, pioneers, innovators and builders. I also mentioned that this was a year and decade in which our mouths would be a significant focus for us, much like the last decade emphasized the importance of the eyes. There may be many who may feel as though the things that God has spoken have somehow been placed on a back burner in light of what we’ve seen occur over the last few months. However, I believe that what we have witnessed is but a part of the process.

Noted author and motivational speaker Samuel Chand has said in his book Bigger Faster Leadership that he learned when he visited the Panama Canal. He learned a strategy that he translated into effective tools for equipping leaders for doing in ministry and business what he learned from his observation of this magnificent place. Part of what he learned is that the ability to build stronger and faster is predicated upon the systems and structures that you set in place.

Over the last few months, in spite of what it appears, many industries have had to literally take a deep look at their own systems and structures as it relates to a major health issue that hit this nation and the world at large. It has forced each and every one of them evaluate their existing systems and structures and fix them or build anew their own systems and structures so that they might be able to move forward effectively in the days ahead. Those that have taken the time to do this will find themselves at the forefront of the move into the new economy with an acceleration that has not previously been seen.

The prophet Nehemiah was uniquely positioned by God to help the people of Israel to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. With Godly direction, he positioned men on the rebuilding project with a weapon in one hand and a building tool in the other. This two-fold equipping of those men was to both protect them and their progress.

In as much as industries and ministries have gone through this process of establishing or resetting their systems and structures, this has also been a time for those who are either apostles, prophets, pioneers, innovators or builders to take a look at their systems and structures. What each has been called to do in this season, this new era is one that will require the right systems and structures necessary for this time of acceleration that will take place. Without those systems or structures, it would be result in a failure to be effective over time; as there would not be an ability or capacity to handle the velocity of the things that will take place.

Apostles and prophets may need to check their hearts, priorities, motives, connections and associations; as each one of these, if not checked or established properly will become something that will cause a breakdown in progress and effectiveness. Pioneers, innovators, and builders may need to check their resources, state of mind, options and opportunities; as each of these can make or break progress.

If you have not taken the last few months that this nation and world have been given to do your own analysis to see if you are in a place where you can handle the coming acceleration to come, I would recommend that you do so. We’re gradually opening up around the nation and it could be that by the end of the month, most, if not all may be ready to hit the ground running. The first six months are almost over and to many it seemed like forever. The next six months may literally seem like a flash in the pan when all is said and done. The question you must ask is whether you’re ready or not?
