It’s Time to Launch!

Welcome to 2022! If you made through 2021, you’ve overcome a great deal in the last two years. 2020 and 2021 were some of the most challenging years that any of us have faced. If you have followed me for any amount of time, you will recall that I have mentioned how the years of 2020 and 2021 were years of rest for me. These were my 49th and 50th years of life. As I am moving through this new year I thought that I would share some things that will hopefully put into perspective, the changes that will be taking place here and elsewhere. As I have been talking about this decade being a season for the apostles, prophets, builders, pioneers, innovators, and creatives, I will be spending a considerable amount of time this year presenting some ways that this is happening, as I too am one of these people.

Entering into 2022, you probably spent the last few hours of 2021 celebrating somewhere and counting down the minutes to midnight as we crossed over from the ending year to the new year. As I thought about this counting down act, I was reminded of the many times that I’ve actually watched NASA do their countdown to the launch of a rocket or space shuttle into space. The whole process is fascinating and the closer you get to zero, the more anticipation builds. The moment the rockets kick in and lift the craft into its trajectory towards space, you begin to be filled with expectations for what will happen next.

Think of this year as a launching platform for you to propel you into everything that God has spoken about you. I don’t know what the year holds for you, but I believe that if you’re like me, you know God is calling you to build something for Him that will speak of Him and bring Him glory. It’s my prayer that the last two years were a set up for your launch into this year so that you will experience the soaring 20’s. I’m going to be testing some things that I pray will prove to be beneficial to you and empowering so that you can experience every great thing that God has for you. It’s time to launch! Let’s go!
