The Battle Between Two Great Resets

If you have been paying attention to the world around you these last couple of years, you have more than likely heard the term “The Great Reset.” That phrase has been spoken in practically every sector or mountain of society. Some people hear the phrase and simply shrug it off as conspiracy theory. Others embrace it wholeheartedly, agreeing that something must be done because the status quo cannot be tolerated. You can go to the World Economic Forum to find an outlay of a plan that the global elites have been hoping to see fulfilled since the emergence of COVID-19. Hillsdale College happens to be another place where you can find information regarding this plan.

At its core, you’ll find, depopulation through sterilization and other means, population control, global population migration, and even redistribution of economic global wealth. There is a shroud of excuses for this shift which has been touted. The claim is “Climate Change!” Yet, no one is willing to face the truth that climate is always changing, regardless of man’s impact or influence on the world in which we inhabit.
Interestingly, this is not the first time that a global reset has occurred. God Himself was the originator of a global reset. In the book of Genesis, we find the story of Noah, whom God came to and said that He was going to use him in His plan for a global reset (read Genesis chapters 6-9). Yet, God’s reset was a holy and divine reset meant to give humanity an opportunity to thrive until God’s salvation could come through Jesus. The world had become so corrupt through sin that God could not bear to look upon His creation (Genesis 6:1-7).
As much as this pained God, His reset was for the benefit and salvation of humanity. He did not want to see His creation annihilated. That would not have been for His glory. There still needed to be glory in the story He was telling.
The great reset being planned by man today is nothing like the reset that God planned. The reset currently being perpetrated on the world is to the benefit not of all but of an elite few who believe that only they should benefit and prosper from the resources that God said belonged to everyone. It is a plan that desires to crush anyone who does not agree with the plan. Those who are among the “woke” shall be saved, but those who are not or refuse to be complicit shall find themselves among the dung heap.
While God’s reset began with Noah and included the coming of Christ, it also included those whom Jesus discipled. Those of us who are Christ-followers are yet a part of God’s global reset. His reset is a blessing to all because it is meant to prosper all to the place of flourishing. God is not a respecter of persons (Acts 10:34-35). God’s plan is a promise to restore wholeness.
The question for you this day is which Great Reset are you in favor of? Which Reset are you working towards? You have the option to participate in one or the other. In this age of distinction, it is another way in which God is saying “I’ve set before you life and death, blessings and curses; however, choose life (Deuteronomy 30:19).”
