The Fight for Freedom

In 2017, I shared some thoughts on a prophetic word that prophet Kim Clement gave. That turned into a ten-part series that I entitled, “What is the Call of the People When Prophets Speaks?” Since that time, much controversy has arisen because other men and women have spoken prophetic words of God, which have come under great scrutiny. I will not debate those prophetic words in this post. That is not my call, nor is it my purpose. Only time will tell who was right or wrong, and only God will judge the heart and motives of those who spoke them.

In one part of the series, I mentioned (based on the prophetic word given by Kim Clement) that one of the things facing the nation was a battle that had to be fought. This battle would be a fight for freedom in the same way that Moses had to go before Pharaoh to demand freedom for the people of Israel. Pharaoh’s refusal to release the people unleashed ten plagues. I drew a connection between those ten plagues and the ten battles that needed to be fought for freedom to be won in this nation. One of those battles is against a great giant known as the pharmaceutical industry, which should be overseen by agencies like the FDA, USDA, HHS, and CDC. Instead, they are partnered with them.
While part of the purpose of those on the mountain of government is to protect and maintain order, it also bears the responsibility to ensure God-given freedoms. However, as has been stated by the historian Lord Acton, “power tends to corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” President Gerald Ford believed that “any government big enough to give you everything you want is big enough to take everything you have.” President Ronald Reagan once said, “government’s first duty is to protect the people, not run their lives.” Yet, as we can see, there has been a gradual grasp and overreach for more power by many in government to run the lives of the people they took an oath to protect in recent years.
The expansion of power through three- and four-letter agencies like the ones mentioned above have enabled them to plant themselves into the other mountains of culture; media, business, arts and entertainment, education, family, and even religion.
It has enlisted the aid of the media to excite fear, encouraged educators and the scientific community to skew data in such a way to make their claims appear more valid. It is no small thing to say that Big Pharma has greatly leveraged its relationships to aid itself and the power in government to gain greater control over the public. So, how can the people truly fight the giants and regain the freedom that was once theirs to exercise?
People must first come to the realization that their freedoms are being stripped from them and that it is within their duty to elect officials who will defend those freedoms. Second, there must be an acknowledgment that there must be integrity to the election process if there is ever to be a system that can be trusted for the ensuring of the right people are winning. They must also demand better by investigating abusers and throwing their support behind protectors in the industries that have been corrupted.
It has been said that it is harder to win back the freedoms that have been lost. The longer that the public refuses to acknowledge that freedoms are being stripped away, the greater the challenge will be to restore them. Now is the time that those who know the truth rise up to speak boldly and build momentum through those grassroots processes of setting the right people in place at the local, state, and federal levels of government. It is time to all their dollars in both the marketplace and the stock market do the talking about who they support providing the things that they have need of.
The fight for freedom is the greatest thing that faces America. The loss of those freedoms is not just the ruin of a nation in the here and now, but for generations yet to be born and a world that has benefitted from the strength of the people who believed in it. Fight for freedom!
